Sanjeeda Sheikh Hot Gallery

Sanjeeda was born on the 20th of December, 1984 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. She is originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She and her family is settled in Mumbai. She lives with her Parents and her younger brother. Sanjeeda never aspired to be an actor, she came to Mumbai from Ahmedabad to help a friend open a dance school, after a few days in the city, she decided to stay and conduct dance classes in the school. She used to teach fusion dance. She acted in three South Indian films in a span of one and half year; co-incidence brought her to the world of Indian Television. Ekta Kapoor spotted her in a party and immediately approached her to act in her TV show. She gave a screen-test for Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki but overtly impressed by Sanjeeda’s screen-test, Ekta finalized her as the main lead, Nimmo of Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka. Sanjeeda was appreciated by the critics and the audiences for her portrayal of the sweet, loving, accident-prone, girl next door, Nimmo of KHNK. She was nominated as the ‘Best Newcomer (Female)’ in all the leading Television Awards that year.
Post-KHNK, she refused some positive characters and wanted to try challenging roles on a condition that there is variety in them. In early 2007, she chose to play the volatile, aggressive and vengeful Ayesha of Kayamath. Ayesha’s character was killed off in the show after a year and half, Sanjeeda bid farewell to Kayamath in August, 2008. Ayesha’s complexities made her more of a ‘grey character’ than the usual negative female characters of television soaps. Her obsessive lover act as Ayesha bagged her the nomination in the category of ‘Best Actress in Negative Role’ in several award functions for two consecutive years. Sanjeeda won the Gold Award 2008, Best Actress in a Negative Role for Kayamath.
After Kayamath’s role came to an end, Balaji Telefilms asked her to allot dates for another serial of theirs, Kya Dil Mein Hain on 9x. Sanjeeda played the character of Naina Oberoi, a lawyer by profession, but a fun loving, free-spirited and ambitious young woman. The turning point of Sanjeeda’s career was Nach Baliye in the year 2007. Sanjeeda with real life beau Aamir Ali participated in the 3rd season of the first and the most popular celebrity dance-based reality show Nach Baliye. They mesmerized viewers, judges, celebrity guests and charmed millions of hearts with their dance and chemistry. Voted as the best couple by audiences all over the world, Aamir and Sanjeeda danced their way to victory outshining the pair of Rakhi and her beau Abhishek on December 22, 2007. They have been always tremendously well-liked amid their fans and it was their fans votes and Aamir-Sanjeeda’s fantastic performance, chemistry and co-ordination that helped the couple secure the title at the end. Aamir and Sanjeeda hosted 8 episodes of Nach Baliye's 4th season. Sanjeeda and Aamir won the "Best Couple of Indian Television" Lion Gold Award in 2008.
Sanjeeda will soon be seen in the forthcoming Bipasha Basu, Mahesh Manjrekar, Maradona Rebello starrer film "Pankh", produced by White Feather Films. Sanjeeda also is a part of Shoojit Sircar's, Amitabh Bachachan, Sarika, Dia Mirza, Jimmy Shergill starrer "Johny Mastana" earlier titled "Shoebite". Both films are likely to release this year.

X-factor: Twinklng eyes and fun loving nature.

Claim to fame: This happy-go-lucky girl started off in Mumbai by bagging the lead role in Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka. Interestingly, Sanjeeda had actually come to Mumbai to open a dance school of her own but ended up acting. But her dream came true with Nach Baliye 3 where she won the title along with her live-in partner Aamir Ali. In one of the episodes, Madhuri Dixit told her, ''I see a lot of me in you''. Now with a sizzling compliment like that Sanjeeda has every reason to be happy. Isn't it?

Forthcoming factor: At present Sanjeeda is playing a vamp in yet another Ekta Kapoor show, Kayamath.
